The Ultimate theatre guide for your next West End night out
11.05.2021In the last year, the conversations about new and favourite West End Shows have been ending before they even started. The closures forced the theatre world to shut and some of the most popular West End shows have been out of action for over a year. Although there were few times where we got excited after false starts, the theatres now have been given the green light to reopen on May 17 as part of the government’s roadmap out of lockdown.
Lucky for us, Westminster and Villiers Street are the cultural hub for not only theatres but also have enough to offer for post theatre food cravings and drinking spots.
Why not start your night out with a bite to eat at one of our favourite takeaway spots which include the brand new Greenaway’s Pie & Mash, Five Guys, Thunderbird Chicken or treat yourself to a visit to the much loved Gordon’s Wine Bar which is currently offering outdoor seating but from the 17th of May will be reopening their indoor restaurant area.
Not sure where to head for after-show drinks? Thankfully once it opens, All Bar One provides a stylish space with just the right amount of buzz to grab some snacks or end the night with one of their delicious cocktails.
To make planning easier here is a list of all the shows you should know about before you start organising your West End night out.
