SOUTHBANK CENTRE WINTER MARKET
Stroll along the Thames under twinkling lights and sample indulgent drinks, scrumptious street food and seasonal goodies from traditional alpine-style chalets at the Southbank Centre’s Winter Market. Open until the 24th December.
THE NUTCRACKER AT THE LONDON COLISEUM
This Christmas, English National Ballet’s spectacular production of The Nutcracker returns to the London Coliseum. This beautifully staged production brings to life Tchaikovsky’s score – featuring the Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy and the Waltz of the Flowers – it is a magical, memorable and must-see this Christmas. CHRISTMAS IN THE WEST END WALK
Start the festivities the right way with this Christmas in the West End walk on the 6th December. You will explore the arcades and shops of Piccadilly, like Fortnum and Masons, and admire their Christmas displays, before heading to St James’s Palace, where you will find out about its distinguished residents. End the walk by discovering some of the stately mansions that fringe Green Park, including the `’finest private house ‘ in London. All proceeds from this walk will be donated to The Connection at St. Martin’s, a charity helping the homeless people in London recover and find housing and work.
